    I tried it once but It doesn't give any weigh to my keyword rankings. I'm looking forward for other DPers experience here.

    Link buying is not bad but depends on what page on it. Is it your relevant pages of your site?

    It's not too bad to buy links , at least until now. The results are good if tradings are undetectable by big-G .
    (via non commercial site , buy from friends ,DP members etc.)

    I have tried it once but wasn't very successful at that. Links sent me no traffic and in the end I was wondering why did I ever invest and spend any $$ on it.

    Recently bought a link package of 30 high PR links, 2 weeks later my serps jumped and was getting 4000 uniques a day from google alone.

    (compared to the 150 it was getting)

    Buying links is great if you know what you are doing and are willing to shell out the money. However, you always run the risk of getting in trouble, and your site can quite easily be reported for buying/selling links and disappear forever.

    I'm just sayin. If you don't want to risk that, then think about your own ways of making/gaining links.

    I had bought some links those are giving me direct traffic. However, I am not getting increment on my SERPs

    I haven't done any link buying myself, but there are many payday/loan related sites that buy links on my site for very competitive terms and they seem to be ranking great in Google.

    You don't need to buy backlinks, and its illegal for Google SEO. Why bother then you can get backlinks without opeining yourself up to the risk of a Google slap?

    For sure yes. It's a beauty of SEO. Just don't buy traditional paid links anymore.
