    I am not sure but I read it somewhere online, that one should call the service provider to get activated (with in 5 hours).

    Not sure if thats AT&T or O2.

    Better give it a try.

    lol expensive fragile rubbish, my phone works fine and it cost me less than $15. All these fancy functions and cost, what if someone robs you of it on your first night out?

    I still have the "old" iPhone.
    Maybe later I'll buy the iPhone 3G.
    I only have 1 question... For the GPS locator you need have 3G or WiFi activated to see your location on Google Maps? So you cannot use it while driving without 3G?

    I will get one within the next week or two. I went to the local Apple store last Saturday morning to get one, but the line was 100 people long! Screw that...I do want this phone, but I can wait until the hype wears down.
