Ever had this problem? You find a great image on the internet which would look super on your website but it needs a bit of editing to look just right. So, you download it and open it in your favorite image editor and ... WTF?! ... where on earth did that solid black color in the background come from? Okay, so PhotoShop can be used to edit transparent PNGs but some of us simply can't afford that heavyweight program. GIMP can also do this and it's FREE (sweeet!) but it has a steep learning curve. Sure, you could always view this lady's delightful tutorials: (She always starts off with "Hi guys!" ) They're very good but if time is of the essence and none of the programs on your computer retain PNG image transparency, your best bet is probably an online tool. Here's an article about three (3) such tools: http://techpp.com/2010/10/05/3-tools-to-edit-png-files-online-while-retaining-transparency/ Now, I never used FotoFlexr or Images.my-addr but Pixlr does a great job. Give it a try.
