Have you ever think of making a Facebook clone? Facebook is a site that we always use to develop our social network in a better way. But have we ever think of a site better than Facebook how it would be? What will be its new features?

Well never thought about it, needs a lot of money to develop which I don't have right now. But I do want to create a better search engine than google :)

I think both Facebook and Google have to much of a monopoly for anybody to take either of them over with a new up-and-start company.

How many times a year do we have about a Google killer? Wasn't Bing supposed to put Google to shame? I don't think I know one person who uses Bing.

Everybody thinks about copying the latest. I remember when eBay first arrived...everybody was trying to make their own auction site.

Facebook killed myspace like video killed the radio star. Bing did take some market share but it is still no Google. There will be a new social media outlet sometime down the road but it has to be innovative and different than facebook, have lots of capital, and become viral.

To answer your question, no. I don't see any reasons to reinvent the wheel. Just enjoy the ride.

I don't think this is a good idea because the social networking market is swamped with facebook and myspace clones. Try focusing on a niche market for a small level of success.
