Because that's what this Universe does: creates life wherever it can. And we are meant to enjoy it and live it to it's fullest. Praising a God is a useless waste of time. If there is an all-powerful god, do you think it would give a rat's behind whether or not you praised it? Don't waste your time, live your life.

We are born too extend our species.
Of course you can also live for something better and bigger than that, and it's up to you to find it, or not.

Yes. I ask myself what I really want all the time. I know for sure being the richest man in this world isn't going to make me happy. I believe I'm born to make a difference to the world, to help as many people as I can while I lead an interesting and meaningful life.

What are your standards based on? Everyone has a different definition for 'good', however I believe sacrificing oneself for others is universally agreed to be good.

If bad deeds means hurting others then no. I don't even eat meat. I do believe killing when necessary though.

Excellent question! Our conscious mind separates us from the animals. Subconscious is animal instinct. Irrational fear stems from subconscious, fear of unknown in particular. It takes plenty of conscious effort and training to get used to a new thinking pattern/habit.

There's just too much to this topic... There's even superconscious which both science and buddhism speak of. Go read up about all these if you haven't, it's really interesting.

I make effort to stay positive and motivate myself by 'forgetting' myself, in other words try to focus on helping others more. I'm always happier that way, it works.

    I'm a vegetarian. Shoot me.

If that's the case you would just be thinking like an animal and not have enough brains to come up with all these questions.

I believe in God. BUT to me God is not an old man or an omnipotent being looking down at us from heaven. God is EVERYTHING. Everything in this universe/multiverse is God. To summarize my point I call it ENERGY. All energy react to one another, hence there's the law of cause of effect and hence the butterfly effect and law of attraction.

    Who doesn't want to?
