I do it more consistently now. It is sane therapy for me. Outside talking to myself, I am going to be old and faded too quick. It is also my preparation before I meet my chance talking in font of TED audiences
Not in front of a mirror, but I often think aloud when I'm alone. Sometimes, I just need to see if my ideas sound as good in the open as they do in my head. One day I'll be thrown in an asylum for my babbling, but that's why I do it when I'm alone and not bugging anyone.
I guess its normal for everyone and I believe everyone does that once in their life time, especially women do. We get dressed, put make up and tell ourselves how good we are looking today.. On a sad day( Don't know about others) my pet dialogue is ..WHY ME ???????
I do and this is normal for me. Sometimes its serious and sometimes fun. Whenever I feel like I am in a mess always use the technique and is effective too.

yes i talk to myself when i feel loneliness,and when i clarify my works then i talk myself. It is good thing to know ownself.
You might have a psychological disorder. It is best to go visit a doctor and know what is wrong with you before it even gets worse

Every single day, and I think every one does. it is very helpful because you have give some time to yourself to analysis yourself, what you have done all day and what you have to not.
All the time, public or private. I don't care what other people think, I'm the best person to discuss my thoughts with! I always get exactly what I mean. My grandmother always says "only smart people talk to themselves!"
