Interesting. I didn't know about that about Indian cultures. Hmmm...learn something new everyday. Anyway, I am female so I'm not one who shaves my head. However, my spouse does to save money from going to barber shops.
a lot of males in my family are bald/loosing hair if I get to that point I will shave it all off, until that time. I love my hair.
i had shaved my head once and felt it was quite light on my head after years of those hairs....lookwise i was O.K.
Yes and it was awkward at first but it looked ok...it is it's own style which is good. But I am not in a hurry to do it again anytime soon.
I had my head shaved year and half back and that was the last time as I'm not intending to do it again. I personally love bald people with good head shapes buy unfortunately my head is kinda messed up so ......
I heard that in Ancient Egypt it was custom to shave your eyebrows off when your cat died. By the way, if you do shave your head don't do your eyebrows as well (or just your eyebrows) - from personal experience I know this looks wrong.
Not completely but I do have very short hair cuts. I find short hair so much more practical when it comes to cleanliness. It also disguises the fact that my hairline is rapidly receding!
