If you're really determined for this site, you should improve its design. My blog looks more professional than the site. Plus, use high quality images. ;D

My Thoughts

Logo
I realize that there is a need for quality writers and a need for a good place to look for these people.... I would suggest that you update your logo to go beyond customer expectations.

Header
Your header works fine in FireFox and in Opera but stretches out in Internet Explorer.



Images
Your images are very pixelized. I would recommend you pay the extra few dollars for some quality images... or even do a search on DP for someone who maybe interested in a trade with you.

Content
To be good a good quality writing business you need to really work on your 'home page' & 'about us' content. Tone down on the unneeded words and ensure that the proper wording is used for what it is you are trying to say.

As you maybe aware, 2 of your pages are currently without content. These are 'Contact Us' and 'Order'

Template
I would recommend that you find a designer to give your template the added touch it needs to stand out.

SEO
I would also recommend that you have some work done on SEO.

Conclusion
You have a good idea for a market that needs good quality work. It does need to be brushed up a bit to fulfill the business requirements.

This review was done using 3 browsers (FireFox 2.0.0.9, Internet Explorer 6.02 & Opera 9.24) on Windows XP SP2.

The idea is ok, but you must change the theme. There are dozens of free templates on the net.

What I don't like the most is the navigation menu. I never like it when fonts change size when mouse is moved over it. It is very annoying. Using underline is enough. The rest of the site needs improvement.

 

It's not centered Shawn! It's better if you change the font type that you're using. Arrange the menus properly. Though your header is ok, would be good if you improve your logo. Just my opinion. Good luck!

 

The bold rollover on the links makes the text shift - watch out as I have has weird jumping problems in the past with this issue
