Have you ever sacrificed bill money for a web project?

 

No! Why would you do that?

 

I had to sacrifice some money to invest in my first site..It paid off seven folds..I picked up a second job and the money that i earned, went for SEOing for the first site and i bought a second site..And of course ya don't put your mortagae payment at risk..

 

what's the difference between money and bill money?

 

I have sacrificed my bill money a lot of times on the beggining.

At the time all of my money was bill money.. Didn't have any extra money to do anything fun with..I always had something to pay..

 

All the time... Not as much as I used to now that I have a wife and kid - but without the necessary sacrifices no one would make it big time. If I were to have just "paid the bills" I would never have excelled in my career. Now I usually sacrifice time.

yes i have, about two year ago, made a bit of a mistake at first but i learned from it so in a way im glad i did.

 

I would do it all the time at the start of my IM career. I saw it as a necessary gamble! Sometimes you have to take risks for something you want right?

 

Bill money yes....beer money never
