Hi, Please don't go that type of automatical submissions, because they were not consistent work..and also they get penalized by Google..So my best suggestion is do manually what ever you get that was consistent and standard quality back links, which increases your website traffic....
Depend on quality of backlink services that sellers offer. There are good and some are bad. Backlinks still affect SERP (search engine ranking position) at Google, that's why both SEO and link building services always there.

I don't think SEO and link building packages are a good idea especially with the new Google Penguin update.
Never touch it unless they give you a trust that all link they build are manually and quality and you able to review all of it . The best is never go for it because i would say mostly using autobot which will make your site get punish by google panda and penguin to sandbox.
I can't believe that these guys are saying don't use SEO services. That's amazing and just silly. First off the "new Penguin" update was months ago. It's not new. And besides that none of my sites were bothered by it at all. If I had 10000 pages before I had 10000 pages after. I agree with Jerrick that you should trust the people you do business with, but that should be true for anything you do in business. If the people seem like crooks, don't do anything with them. If I get a funny feeling I walk away. But let's get real. This is about playing by the rules and if you play by the rules, then your work will last. (at least until Google makes more changes.) The truth is that we don't know the future of the Google changes, but for now SEO done properly is great and will get you ranked.
If you avail service from a company who has experienced, knowledgeable experts and aware of latest google algorithm, then it is ok.
