I met Ralph Stanley he is a really cool person, not stuck up at all and very friendly - I wonder how many people here know he who is
Yepper that is him. He got off his bus and walked around in the crowd with no body guards or anyone. He was dressed in regular clothes (jeans and button up shirt) and just walked around talking with people. I swear that a lot of them didnt even know who he was. He is basically the "father" of the 5 string banjo. I dig bluegrass, but I also listen to heavy metal, country, and even some hip hop.
Tyra banks, i was one of the main guests on her talk show Also Tele Savalis who stopped by our neighborhood in astoria new york to have a pizza at the pizza shop on our block. He pointed a finger at my older bro and said " who loves ya baby lol" My brother followed him from astoria all the way up to steinway street. I was just standing back laughing lol.
Yea, very cool guy and very down to earth. Imagine being a big star like that and having one favorite pizza place in queens to eat at . That was something.
Never met any movie starts personally. But I do see some on the street but I never wanted to bother them with an autograph or something.
I met Jim Norton, my favorite comedian and he was pretty cool. Took time to take pictures and talk with us a little bit.
I've met Joe Nieuwendyk before. He used to be a great NHL player, one of the biggest names for a while. Unfortunately he's had a bunch of injuries the last few years.
