I think we've all been the stupid with spending of our money at some point..when we are younger especially. Hopefully you mature over time like with life...sadly many do not educate themselves in this manner though Just ask Electron, I mean Tesla
Well I lost few money on online scams when I was very new to internet community but not lost all money.
sometimes you need to lose everything to realize what you truly have. Perserverance is key here, don't let something bring you down just keep plugging hard work pays off always!
You know, when I read these posts, I kinda wonder if there is anything worthwhile that I (newbie that I am) could possibly contribute. Well (guess I have to say, it's unfortunate), this is an area in which I've had experience! I lost a lot - so much, that life is a bit difficult for me now (but I'm not complaining - so many have it much harder). But I've also learned so much... Since I've had time to consider the whys & hows of my stupidity - I'll share them. I'll call this - "The Why's and How's of Screwing Up - Big Time" To start, I.. 1.) Made some bad financial and relationship choices... 2.) ...which, in turn drained both my finances and my energy - so much so that I couldn't think straight. Bad move, very bad... 3.) Didn't realize any marketable skills (I have them, but didn't think I did, nor did I understand how I could market them.) 4.) Lack of confidence in myself & my abilities. all of which led to: 5.) Fear. Fear can paralyze, can make you hide from the world, and can make you miss so many opportunities. So... in a nutshell, I had a good portion of money, listened to the wrong people around me (no longerpart of my life.. took awhile, but I did it!), didn't invest the money, didn't get a skill to work, fast enough.. so I ended up living off of the money (and supported a jerk for too long, lol). On the plus side, I'm the type of person who tries to learn from past mistakes, from the crap that life sometimes hands out... gonna rise up like the phoenix. (I can also understand and identify with people who suffer in this world - something I wouldn't trade for all the money in the world!)
