Have you ever hired someone to build backlinks? did it work?

I have built a few sites i think they have some decent content. They are over a year old but I just can't seem to get any traffic. I get about 50/day to many of them most from a massive amount of article submissions i have done. I have tried social bookmarking, forum ect... but i guess i suck at link building as all my sites have zero pr after a year. Except one that is pr1. These are not 8 page sites as i have a fair amount of content. MSN and yahoo love me but google does not.

So I'm curious if you ever hired someone to link build and results ?

I hired someone for SEO but i think they pretty much scammed me and did very little of what they said or could not prove their work.

So anyone ever get good results hiring link builders and a what cost?

    ty

Sometimes article submissions take a little while to reach their full benefit. So your traffic may still naturally go up in time. If I were you, I would repeat what you have done but targeting other keywords. For example, you could target 'mortgage help' and get the same rankings as you have for 'Government Mortgage Help'. The same goes for your other websites. You can still get plenty of traffic by dominating Yahoo and MSN. Try targeting 3 or 4 new phrases for each website at the same time. Rotate between using the different anchor texts and monitor your rankings. Once you achieve good rankings, rotate that keyword out and rotate a new one in.

Eventually you might get Google rankings too. For that you probably will need more quality backlinks. These are the kinds of links that you can't just easily get by filling out a form of some type. You might need to add more content too.

I have hired someone to build backlinks for me before. it was someone off of Elance and they seemed to do an ok job but it costs a LOT of money. It did not seem like it was worth it in the long run because of the cost so now I just try to use other methods of building backlinks like in my sig. Much cheaper and very effective that way.

I never hired someone before. I am doing all the link building for myself but I am not closing my doors on hiring someone.

You should do more link building than what you are doing right now. There is no easy job.

    Hi,

Hiring someone who is not particular in SEO is a big frustration. but now all seo provider are scam, i still believed that lot of seo provider here are doing their jobs well. Maybe it takes time to struggle to rank a certain website and it matters the resources you have.

I recommend before hiring seo provider to your site better to study first seo.

Tried a couple of service providers in DP - all are crap. It's better to build your own free sites and backlinks.

I'll get blasted for this, but I'm saying it. Hiring anyone to do any SEO work is a risk not worth taking and any gained results will disappear in time.

Basic SEO work is not that difficult and there is plenty of information on the net to research. After the basics, SEO is more about keeping up with the times than any specific SEO method. For example, at one time link exchange was a hot topic, not any more.

If you hired someone to do your backlink work, a year from now whatever method they may of used may not be sanctioned by google. I recommend after the basics, keep researching (i.e. digital point) to keep up with what is the latest in SEO and do it.

Better do it yourself or look very well at the service you hire!
If you hire someone you risk getting your site banned if that guy/company spams the internet.

Google does not like ANY Search engine optimization, if they detect spam they ban ;)

IMO it would be better if you are using article marketing than hiring someone to do your SEO's
    and links building

I haven't hired anyone to do any link building for me. I have always been skeptical about hiring someone to do SEO for me.

There is one great thing about doing it yourself......... I just forgot what it was! :) No but really, only use a service you know is good. Many, many, scammers around.

Don't bother paying anyone for link development. In my experience, they never deliver what they claim.

hiring an established link builder may very well work but be aware that they may want to do on-site stuff as well as just build links.

I've never trusted anyone to build my backlinks.

As with anything use common sense:
    1) ask for references.
    2) clearly outline the job
    3) if it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

    Back to my manual backlinking...:)

I did and totally disappointed. As many other have said, build your backlinks your self. I mean says that you concentrate on article marketing, so you write articles and submit them to article directories, not only you get backlink but also you get better writing skill (if you outsource it, you get backlink -maybe- and you lose money -surely-)
