Yeah - That's what it is... It runs exactly the same on TV... We get loads of ads like that over here (Not all as good I might add)... The company that produced it is http://www.wk.com/thankyou.htm (cheers for that Lever ) Go to the portfolio page (work we've done), then scroll along the dates at the top until you get to '03... That was the last big Honda Ad... I LOVE that one - Even have it on DVD (Now that is the way to do Viral Marketing)...
Hippy movies, kittens - grrreat. No bleeding heart stuff here. I think Kalina's well mended now Like SE says it's there 'cos the stinky old diesels are being wiped out by Honda's revolutionary new engine and the planet's a much better place for it. I don't have a beat-up old Land Rover but I'd be happy to own one. It wouldn't be as fast as either of my cars but it'd be interesting to experience. I'm sure people would get out of my way quicker Show us your Oscar, Kalina... I got 2x really cool, mostly white with a bit of black moggies. Finding names for them was such a laugh. Being boy & girl (brother & sister) I went through all sorts of pairs of names...
Hey, MoPacFan? How you getting on with Amanda-Lynn? You sorted out the distance thing yet? She gonna marry you, ditch the Jeep and settle down in GlenDale? I hope I got that right - my NorthAmerican continental geographical knowledge needs revising again - it's been a while
Hey you all must have digital cameras you can just whip out and take pics I don't have any pics of my Oscar, but he's a foot long. SE I will look more into the link you posted when I get back, I am going to grab a bite to eat! Will be right back! Yep Lever I am well mended.... I think!
My little Lottie went to the zoo, they were doing a handle a snake thing. All the other kids were screeming and hiding Lottie walked up and asked the handler if she could stroke it. He agreed and asked if she wanted to hold a snake, she said yes, and did. She is 5 now, but was four when it happened. As for cars. Hmmm the viper is ok, but the current round of cars a crap, they are way to forgiving. I had a 911T it was a pig to drive put your foot down and the power would come in some time after and throw you all over the place. I had a ford capri 3litre, if someone spat on the road the damn thing would swap ends. I had a Jag V12 xjs, now THAT car could shift, and stop on a penny. I now drive a boring old Saab that will fly to 130+mph, 0-60 slightly slower than a 911, but the damn thing rarely goes above 70. I can floor the pedal half way round a bend, the power kicks in along with all the other make you safe gadgets, and I just shoot out of the bend at a rapid rate. No over or understeer, no back end break away, no 4 wheel slide. Can't even left foot brake Like I used to in the mini. Boring Boring Boring Hot property LMAO
Where do you come up with these names? Is it something I don't know about cause I am Canadian? lol.... How old are your cats Lever?
OWG, your little girl is cool. Sounds like she'll be able to look after herself I like your taste in cars - never had the chance to 911 but would have to go for the experience. My old Baja Bug handled like one but just didn't have the power (as you'd expect LOL) Ford Capri - now that's an adversary. Saw a sad old Capri Mk1 the other day. Minis - I used to thrash my mate in his late Cooper 1.3 and I only had a 1050cc Fiat 127 What you reckon to the new minis taking over the *spit* Italian Job? Sacrilege SE Yep, FLC - 2 good albums and then... that's Saffron from Republica - they were dating at the time. Then they split up. Oh the irony.
I'm saving now... My first car was a MkII Mini 998 Super Deluxe... That was cool... My mum has one of the new Cooper s'... I do love thrashing that around (When she isn't sitting next to me She hates me driving fast)... Your right though man... FLC were the best, what on earth happened??? You ever heard of Kyuss? It's Queens Of The Stone Age, but before they were Queens Of The Stone Age. Really heavy stoner rock.. I have been listening to those guys a lot again recently... And Houses of the Holy (Led)...
Oh, Kalina, you don't wanna know the names I came up with. I think some things are funny, but some people may take offence so I had to be careful and refrain from potentially socially unacceptable names. I was thinking of calling them Itchy & Scratchy though - but couldn't handle having to call them in at night and have the neighbours think *nutter!* I had enough trouble when I once inherited a dog called Vomit - geez it was embarrasing calling his name out. He ran away one day and the police caught me wandering across the local park shouting "VOMIT" at the top of my voice - needless to say it took a lot of explaining...
Wow, Super Deluxe. Like a Royale with Cheese I never drove a Mini My mate had a Metro Turbo (before they 'detuned' them) and another mate's brother has a Metro 1.3 turbo lump stuffed into a Mini - it's reportedly very quick and of course handles well But new Coopers - modern but too refined I reckon... I really don't know. I lost interest at "Mimosa" - I thought they lost their original streak by doin' covers and I never went back to see or listen to what they did. Very interesting... I shall have to investigate further. I love Hawkwind, personally getting well into their "Live Chronicles" LP when Huw Lloyd Langton was with them... but anything QOTSA has gotta be good. Ooops. Missed this one. I think they must be about 5 now. Big personalities they are. Just what you need to keep you on your toes *oh look, a dead frog. for me? how nice. thankyou*
It's almost mean someone would name the dog Vomit Poor dog. LOL! You probably did look nuts, I wouldn't be saying his name til the coast is clear. Cats have a habit of bringing in dead mice and birds... frogs too eh? You can add it to the collection! So you came up with some socially unacceptable names? I can only imagine, I've got a good imagination.
I mostly ended up calling him "Gromit" in public. At least, when Wallace & Gromit, the animated plasticene figures, were popular I could get away with it. "Vomit!" "What did you call you dog?" "err... Gromit" "I thought so. For a moment I nearly thought you called him..." "...er, that's disgusting. How could you?" Yep, and pine cones, jumbo car sponge, cuddly toy *no sh1t* they've brought all sorts of stuff back. I was hoping they'd develop into bringing back things like wallets, cash and jewellery but they grew out of the weird stuff a few years back (just a phase) and reverted back to mice & birds. I guess that was their equivalent of teenage years and they were just experimenting. LOL - you have to have a good imagination, you are a creative girl after all. It's so cool you're into PhotoShop - it's a holy grail for me but there's so little time for art and so much need for all the technical stuff. You'll have to show me sometime
You could have called him Comet! That sounds good. That reminds me of Puss in Boots, wallets, cash and jewellery, that had me rolling, lol. That cat is a thief! Yes I love Photoshop, you can do so much in there if you put your mind to it. You need some training Lever?
