Have you ever had any major success with free hosting?

    I love my free host. Cost me nothing to get, no ads, or banners, 20 gig storage and 20 gig bandwidth every month, can't beat that for free.... :)

    I always use free hosting. I've never had a problem with it either. Unless you have a long term project that needs a lot of space and specific needs.

    When I start a website, I use a free webhost. Then I see how the project is going and then transfer it over to a paid server when it's ready. I don't like to pay extra for a failed project, so I wait until I know things are working out.

    With todays cost of hosting it would be better off just buying some cheap hosting. Free hosting is to risking with todays prices and is not smart move.

    Free hosting should be used as a tool for learning the ropes. Once you have gained the skills/knowledge, you should move to a reputable host.
