Have you ever got addicted to your son's Video Game?

Well very funny story and ironic also. My son was telling me to stop playing so much video games haha.

Here's the scoop

So i bought my son a game for his xbox 360 console. A ridiculous at first game called GTA IV (Grand theft auto 4)

I was like "why in the world would you play something like this"

Then he's like "why don't you try it"

So i was I like okay fine, lets see what this Game can do.

And as I drove around what appears like new york city, driving over people, getting chased by police, doing whatever the heck I wanted to do and it happened.... i got addicted.

I even started doing the missions of the game and my son got mad for not letting him play when he came from school. Because I was playing.

Anyways a fun story where a parent can get stuck in a child's game.

Anyone have a similar experience?

 

I don't have a son but when I will have one ,may be I will be playing something else

I don't have any kids yet either but I can definitely relate to your addictiveness to Grand Theft Auto IV. The game is actually really quite deep and the "do whatever you want" feel is certainly entertaining. It's that type of game that you can just pick up and play for a half hour, cause some mayhem and some high speed chases, and go back to your life, I love it.

That’s not so strange. As we all know gaming industry data pointing to the fact that adults buy games much more than kids.

 

The funny part is that my daughter got addicted to one of the online games I used to play

 

I don't have a son yet but I am currently addicted to DOTA, I can't get any work done

 

Little Big Planet is the game anyone can get addicted to, that's for sure.

 

I have my 13 year old cousin and i saw him playing online games and i told him i wanna play the game so he taught me until i get addicted until now lol

 

hmmmm.... definitely.... why not.... If everything is fine i will definitely play those games and eventually get addicted .....!!

 

that's when you son should say to you "Speak for yourself!"

 

I remember when my dad used to sneak on me to play Super Mario with my Nintendo Family Computer. It was around 6 times that i caught him getting out of bed at midnight and playing Mario. Really funny though..

 

If you mean DoTA as in Defense of the Ancients;
Pretty sure this game is a curse!

It's also one of those things that you either absolutely hate, or you love it
