Ok here is an example.
I was doing an intensive CHi Gung Course for about 3 months, one day I decided to push the limits and did 3 classes in one day.
Afterwards I was humming with energy, went back to the hotel I was staying in at the time. (I was between moving apartments)
I had to go out and look for a new apartment and I was a little irritated so I did some quick breathing exercises, lay down on the bed (on my back)
Gathered a large CHi/Energy ball between my hands, pushed them together and said, I just want Peace.
I then had a feeling like a really soft extatic orgasm explode in my heart and I felt the entire centre part of my body start to get pulled upwards, I thought I was about to Die so at the last second (by which stage only my ankles and my head were still touching the bed) I whispered, and Balance.
I then dropped back down onto the bed.
It was really cool, felt really great but I never tried it again.
Had a lot of other weird stuff happen to me though.

Martial arts with Ki/Chi assuming it exists is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. At least that is how I can logically explain it.

 

Yes many times, when u help feed the homeless, when u are there for people or people are their for you when you really need help. When your terminally sick and your dad is caring for u. SO many examples. When you are feeing a homeless person you are actually experiencing god because the holy spirit is more cencentrated in the needy than in rich people.

 

With Regards the Chi/Ki/Prana/Spirit/Energy bit I agree, your right in a way.
With regards poor people having more spirit than a rich person I disagree.
I regards spirit as energy and most poor people dont have enough energy to help themselves.

I think this thread was about practical examples of god though, like strange occurances, serindipity, etc.
I cant be the only one here who has experienced stuff like this.

Yes, three sustained times...

Once when I was in a bad place. I was in my teens and laying awake on the top bunk when, like a wave, the Holy Spirit descended over and through me. I did not know at the time it was the Holy Spirit. I did not realize this until many years later, after I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my own personal Lord and Saviour.

I'll give you another one. I was having a dream. I dreamt I was in a college classroom full of students, and just like it was for me in real highschool I just couldn't pay attention, too many pretty girls, too many opportunites to make someone laugh, I was, plain and simple, goofing off as usual. IN my dream the professor suddenly asked me a question and everyone stopped and stared at me. I had no clue what the answer was because I hadn't been paying attention, and then everyone started to laugh at me. And, truth be told, this is much as it really was in my school days, I felt utter mortification... Then, just as I started to wake up from this horrible dream, as if someone were standing right there beside me, I heard a voice as clear as day utter these simple words directly into my ear: "Educate thyself."

I really don't think I ever read an entire book at that time in my life and I was twenty-four years old. I know this because I had this dream the week my first son was born. But I got up and went to the library and asked the girl there for the first book ever written. She laughed and said, "well, that must be either the Bible or Homer."

I said "Give me Homer." And I ain't stopped reading since. I know this was the Holy Ghost because these two little words changed my life entirely. And it's also why I write still with this victorian latin-esques cadence. Hah!!!

 

darksat Is it true that with certain styles of chigung you can make ur skin impervous to blows? Darksat i have to disagree with u on the poor/rich thing though. I feel that poor people have more of certain spritual energies . Their soul has greater amount of empathy, givingness than rich people.

 

Ihad quite a few experiences during my life time.

When i was little i wanted to cross the street in front of the house. So i did and a Big Black Car hit me and i flew up into the air and landed safely on the curb. They took me to the hospital and i had nothing but a few bruises. I felt like someone pick me up and sat me down on the curb.

When I was young in 1977-79, I used to visit Playboy mansion very often and every time I was there, I thought there must be a God who has taken me to this heaven.

I've never Ever Experienced Presence Of God. I expect everybody to tell the truth.. No god fearing answer here..

 

Amen... we should at least anticipate the truth.

 

God does not own your body, it owns your soul
God is the shuttlest feeling.
When you have sex you feel something ,
when you eat you feel something else
when you pray,meditate think of God you feel some thing else ,
Some feelings are better than others and require higher level of consciousness
now if you understand little bit of mathematics, there can be highest level of consciousness and
a shuttlest feeling which gives you maximum delight

 

I did n't post anything about owning but making it but since you talked about ownership then if God only owns the soul then who own the p*nis?

When I have sex, I feel much better than being in a church (I was bored the few times that I had to go), does this mean that sex is my highest form of prayer since it gives me maximum delight?

 

You own your p*nis . That is if you use it wrongly you will get punished by Govt or nature

Sex in its purest form is quite close to love.

But there are far superior feeling than it, may be you are not capable of feeling it

I am not talking about going to church , God is inside your heart.

Try to discover him inside you, try to establish a connection
you will feel more ecstasy than having sex

 

LOL.... you really don't have a clue, do you? I am an active father of five. You show as much ignorance of Christians as you do of Christ. We enjoy, as you put it, the pleasures just as much as you do, more probably, because we like to associate a little ditti called "love" with it. Maybe you think that doesn't exist either, eh?

 

When you have an orgasm the part of your brain that governs your separate sense of self/spacial/time awareness shuts down for a split second and the energy of the universe flows through you.
You get a taste/sample of the divine, but its still not the highest level.

As for ChiGung making your skin impervious, no, it dosnt work exactly like that.
You gain more strength energy and focus which you can use in many ways, but you dont just become bulletproof.
I did gain some abilities though, I myself after chi-gung need to eat less, am stronger, can move a lot faster, my senses are heightened and I generally feel happier and more connected (Super Performance, plus some other very funky stuff ).
Essentially you learn how to use energy.

How about when you were 15? Were you married? did you have sex outside of marriage or had the best sex of your life alone?
