    I have bought lots of stuff online. However, I have sold a lot more online than I have bought.

    Most of what I have done has been on eBay, but not all. Never have had a problem in well over a thousand transactions.

    There is more selection, but that selection is not necessarily cheaper than offline. My online prices are HIGHER than my walk-in prices since my costs (ESPECIALLY EBAY COSTS) are more than double my normal costs.

    And I am not in India, so this may not apply there.

    LOL... I have probably spent WELL OVER $100k online - overall I haven't struck many problems.

    I will often buy through Clickbank - even if only to check out a product before I promote it.

    I can't make recommendations for where to shop in India - I rarely buy clothing online because I need to try something on first! :) And electronics I like to touch and feel in the store first- if I find a better deal online (which I usually do) then I'll buy online. I guess it all depends on what I'm shopping for.
