fired a few a times, but one stands out. I was a bartender at the time for a catering company temp work. I clearly let the people know ahead of time that I refused to be a waiter, clean up dishes, or walk around passing out food. So I'm behind the bar with this girl. This manager prick who made the girl cry earlier by telling her if she is not wearing a bowtie she can go home, comes to me to tell me to go pass out food and drinks. I said no. He replies, what do you mean, I mentioned it was not in my job description and was fired. I got to keep a ralph lauren tuxedo jacket though
Fired once by my lame ass boss. He is a born idiot. After i joined i got to know, that he fired 4 people working on my position in the past. anyways that was past. today i make 5X his annual income
Believe it or not I got fired from a store called Fruit Bowl, that places was like hard labor cause seeing that all the staff is black and we are working for 3 white people who acts like slave masters really got me mad and I curse em and leave.
Although not the same case, i can tell you how racist some employers can be, im white and in the UK and i worked at a place that went out of its way to not hire blacks or asians, i always thought it disgusting but they were almost quite proud of it, most of the guys there referred to blacks as names best not mentioned here, i remember one afternoon two asian young blokes came to the shutter doors entrance politely asking for work, we needed extra hands and these 2 guys looked up for a good days work, willing to do it, but they had no chance of being hired. I can confirm too that the same white guys you will work with in a warehouse,factory,office etc will chat to a non white and seem fine with the person, but when that person isn't around their running them down. Its a shame really, people have multiple faces for various situations, i dont work for anyone now, but had 2 racist bosses in the past. Of course, not everyone is like that, plenty good and decent people, but just some honesty on how ignorant people can be.
Never been fired, cause I'm too good employee to be fired, although I've changed two places myself. BTW, I'm a modest guy who loves his job )))
