hehe...no i didn't make the news...and no it wasn't because of the stress lol...i was 15 and i was throwing it at one of my friends (another cashier) and a customer walked in between at the wrong time...
I've worked a few temp/seasonal jobs, so I'm kinda used to it, do they count? Serious jobs I just send in my 2 week notice. But think of it this way, if they were actually good jobs they probably wouldn't be firing you, so to anyone who feels sour after getting canned, don't be. They just set you free to go on and do bigger and better things, good luck.
In high school I was fired from a movie theater. I made a lot of mistakes because I didn't care about the job. My boss handed me a list of all the mistakes I made (with dates) and told me I was fired. I wish I would've kept the list, it'd be funny to look at now. Also in high school I was working as a dishwasher and then got a job at a skatepark. I kept both jobs but I would call in sick to my dishwashing job to pick up shifts at the skatepark, eventually they found a dishwasher to replace me which was better for everyone.
I was fired from my first real job. I was 17 years old and I had worked at the store for a year. One day I was doing markdowns on the clearance rack, and later without thinking, I bought something off of the same rack. They said that I marked it down incorrectly and had done it intentionally so I could buy it cheap...
Whew! OK, I jumped to conclusions. I have known people to have done things like I thought you had and then could not see that they actually did something wrong.
Yes I have, I got fired 4years ago for working at this store called "Fruit Bowl" just because they wanted me to do things when there was nothing to do and i walked off from talking to the boss for a girl that I wanted to have sex with.
er, the naked HOT chick should of been 'fired' not you!!!! You try to get her out ouf public....!!!! You had a crummy boss that must of wished she would of stayed around out side all night!!!!
The first step in recovery is to admit your have a problem. Say it " I am a thief" LOL I always say never trust a buffalo!
I was never fired fortunately. Either I quit them, or in one case...they went out of business. Regardless I worked some pretty crappy jobs where I may have been better off fired, just to get me out of there faster.
LOL Yeah, like I would risk losing a good job just to get a few bucks off on a new shirt! I am a very trustworthy buffalo.
I trust you buffalo I never been fired, and maybe will never heard the word 'fired' since right now im work by myself. Im just do some part time job during university's break and after graduate, im working with one company and send my resignation letter after 3 months.
Nope. As of now, I've never worked for someone else, other than myself. Hopefully I can keep it that way. I Don't work for "The man".
I've been fired once in my life, and quit two jobs. Technically I got fired because my boss didn't want to give me my week of paid vacation, since I work part time and it wasn't exactly in their budget at the time. That, and because once I started college I couldn't work much. So the next thing I knew, they changed my schedule completely around (conveniently) and I was fired for not showing up on a day I was supposed to have off. Some businesses make me sick...I was happy though. I'm now self employed.
