have you been banned or droped in serps?

Trying to explore a theroy i have regarding the latest drop in rankings or possible bans in google serps.

If you have experienced in the last 8 weeks ...

- big drop in serps
- possible ban

but you have not done anything wrong ... please pm me.
if you dont mind chatting about it i think i may have possibly found out whats causing the problem.
Im happy to share on dp but i want to investigate before i tell people.

This happened to me and my site ... i was dropped to page 20+ on terms i did rank really well on. I thought i had been banned but this wasnt the case as i ranked on other terms ...

I saw yesterday all my sites went up in UK, now they are back to where they were....I thought caffeine was implemented but it has reversed...

 

yes i have been dropped in serps. I went from the second page to the 12th page and then i just undid a few changes which i recently did at that time and then i climbed back up slowly.

there is this another website for which I dropped around 10 pages in google the last week and i have yet to discover the reason behind it.

 

I'm facing the same problem too.. i used to rank high in certain keywords but they dropped overnight since 2 weeks ago.. i tot my site was get banned but i still have few sub-keywords are ranked 1st page.. my traffics dropped more than half.. what i have done? like what you said.. i have done nothing wrong (i think i'm not wrong but not google think).. i have my new SEO theory also after some bad experiences gained.. i'm interested in your investigation.. please PM me..

 

Yes, I also dropped in that period for keywords that used to stay on positions 1,2,3. Some of them still rank #1, some fluctuate 100 places down. I've observed that they might chan4e these 100 places(from page 1 to page 10) just within couple of hours lol.

Have no idea what's wrong, but it is not with because of my sites. However, the SERPs are way too stable and better in the caffein index.

 

I also faced the same problem but now my blog is OK

 

I've taken some big hits in the last few weeks.

Number 1 phrases dropping 50 places and staying there (could have been over aggressive link building).

Mine are UK sites and the problem is compounded by the influx of .com results in UK searches.

 

happened to me too, the keywork dropped from 4th to page 15 ,
it happened about 5 times this months , always came back weeks latter .

 

This happen to me,
I drop for rank 8th to a page i can't even found for my main keyword.

 

My site is going down its index and does not coming up again, i tried for a lot of time to increase it, but not helping ..

 

So does anyone know why this is happening? Maybe people are just overtaking you on these keywords?

 

You have to recognized what a ban actually is. If the PR bar is grayed out when you type in your site then you are banned (which is usually permanent). If not, but you cant find yourself in the google index then you are sandboxed (which is temporary). Big difference.

 

pm me.. yes my site took a big drop overnight last week. same thing happen last month and took 2 weeks to recover back. this time not recover yet.. nothing change on my site. appreciate if you can investigate for me. thanks.

 

About 2-3 weeks ago a site which I ranked top 5 for a keyword for the last 18 months was dropped for no reason, I have tried every thing but its not coming back, I still rank for a bunch of long tail keywords for this term.

Furthermore I have studied all competitor's my site is far superior in terms of content, links, age, domain name. Its a real killer because this term is searched 4,000-5,000 times a day for the main keyword and its not some shit paying niche.

Some times google is real love or hate...I still rank top in Yahoo and Bing for this term but google with 80% of the search you really cant take hits like this.

 

Yeah. At starting stage my keywords got top position on google serp. After few weeks it went utterly last. Again i worked lot to get my position back.

 

I was once penalized but I recovered fast and even moved to higher SERP with more link building.

 

So far my experiences says..
if you make a site aiming potential Google traffic you will be certainly banned/stop crawling de-ranked etc.
But if you forget search engines they will reward you with indexing pages and sending you nice referrals.

This has also happened to us, we are currently also exploring a theory.

 

Happened to me about 4 hours ago, ranked top 5 in google for hundreds of keywords and just went to 50+ or not-at-all on my site. Site is a PR5 with about 9500 pages indexed. Something to note, the pages are relatively new, about two months ago the website only had like 5 pages. Went from about 7000 unique visitors a day to practically nothing now ... I'm getting foreign traffic but hardly anything from the US. This had happened before, if my memory serves me properly ... before I was ranked #5 for my keyword, then dropped off to oblivion, came back about two weeks later at about #15 for my keyword ... slowly over two months worked back up to #5 again and now back to oblivion lol. I'm optimistic it will come back within two weeks, but I'm afraid the rankings might not be the same. BTW, my site is about 8 months old for having it's content in this niche, compared to sites I compete against who have ranked for 5+ years.

 

perhaps its a google dance for a week, try check your previous months backlinks and this months
you might be linking to the bad neighborhood
