Hi im just curious to know how many of you here had attented computer training courses like
Sorry for the mistyped title. Its "Have you attended computer training courses"
DOT Net, PHP, SEO, Web designing, Web Development, multimedia & Animation etc.
    • What made you to join there ?
    • how you came to about that training institute? (TV ad, newspaper , catalogs, seminars etc )
    • are you satisfied with their teaching & Training ?
    • certification given by them is valuable to you ? (does it helped/boosted your resume value to get a job?)
    • if you want to say any dissatisfaction about the institute what it would be ?
    • what you like/dislike in their training/course materials ?

No. I'm not a good student, and as a result I'm not qualified to do anything. But I do it anyway.
I like to learn by doing - in the real world.

OK I will answer your simple survey.

I have a HND diploma in Sri Lanka. HND - High National Diploma

I needed to be a programmer. that's why I joined it.

I came to that training center because it is the no 1 in our country

No i don't satisfied with it, I couldn't develop a software after finish the course. when I tried to build a shop management software for the first time my self, I got some errors and they didn't teach about them. like working with plug-ins and deferent databases.

Yes, certificate is accepting any company if I needed a job. they are the No 1.

I like their lectures, they are really friendly and like same age of us ( but not really same age), they were like our friends, and high performance computer lab.
( specially I liked to reception girl, but I think it is not important to you,)

I didn't like that they filtered their Internet. we couldn't download any files. and there was no canteen in near.

Sorry about my English, but I think you got what you want.

Teaching yourself programming is by far the better choice. You're not stuck with learning with your peers and such.

I never attended any computer classes.... simply because there were hardly any... in my times! :(

Computers became widely available and people started knowing about it.... only after I had finished my studies and had left my college!

    Regards,
