This is my first time I hear about this new Google offering! Thanks for sharing! Waiting for more cool information and excited posts!
If it can screwed, bought, purchased, or conquered... then it will most certainly be google owned... what a waste of money... thanks google, and NASA... The only thing NASA should be watching for is big rocks that could be heading toward earth, and blow them up; Anything else that NASA does is nothing more then tax payer waste; With the direction our planet is going right now, we certainly should focus on things that matter. (at our stage in evolution; the moon, mars is of no use or value to anyone or me...)
I know only, that Google Mars was at first an in-browser version of Google Maps which provides a visible imagery view, like Google Moon, as well as infrared imagery and shaded relief (elevation) of the planet Mars. Is it truth?
