Have TLA Changed their Submission Requirements?

I tried to submit one of my websites to text-link-ads but the site was rejected the other day.

I received an e-mail today from someone at the site saying that the reason it was rejected was because my site has to have a minimum PR5. But when I checked through their site for links to buy there were lots of sites with PR4, and even one or two with PR3!

Have they changed the rules or did I just catch an annoying mod?

    Thanks.

TLA has recently been sold so it wouldn't surprise me if they changed their policies

I'm not sure there was ever a hard-and-fast PR rule at TLA, more like a combination of factors of which PR was a major one. They have always been fussy about the content and niche of a sites as well as PR. One factor I don't believe has much bearing is traffic.

Im not sure exactly but I think they use Alexa stats in part of their pricing algorithm. This means they base their pricing on an extremely unreliable and poor traffic measuring tool. I only say this because on one of my websites that was the only thing that changed and the pricing went up.
