Have they finished updating?

Well many people are saying their sites PR have increased/decreased which is proof that Google has updated their PR system but have they finished because my site Anime Omnitude had a PR 2 with less that 20 backlinks about 1 and a bit months ago and now has around 800-1000 not sure yet I still have a PR 2 and some PR Predictors predicter PR 4-5 for the site. So my question now is, is Google still updating?

The toolbar PR now being rolled out is based on data from around the end of July (someone else's idea here, but exactly consistent with my own sites).

So increasing your links during the last few weeks won't be taken into account.

I don't know about PR predictor tools, but it is quite likely they use more current data, a less complete data set, and oversimplify the calculation too much. Not to be bothered with except for fun.

 

Dam I thought all my hardwork from August to September would be taken into account.

 

yes.. i though my site dreamstrikes will have a PR this time.. but..

 

I find that very interesting. Why would they do that? Can anyone elaborate on this?

 

One of my sites has not moved any, I was expecting a rise in PR.

Maybe still to come?

 

I'm still seeing fluctuations on PR. A site of mine which went 0-3 is now back to 0 although a quick look on the SEOmoz Page Strength tool still shows a 3.

I'm not going to get too up/down about things for a few weeks until everything settles back down again.
