First I have some blogs and would like to make extra money besides adsense......I have good page rank and would like to sell text links or blog posts with embedded links

    and

I work for an auto company that wants to buy text links on sites.

    • What re some good sites that sell text links like text-link-ads.com?

    • What are some sites where we can purchase a blog post with a link to our website

There are a number of places selling ads like: ValueClick, Kontera, and many others. As for text links specifically, I would recommend staying away from text-link-ads.com (I've personally had bad experiences with them and shall leave it at that). You might check out linkworth.com. Best of luck to you!

I had used TLA for quite a while. All along I was improving the site for content, more authors, inbound links, etc. which made the site rise overall. When it did, TLA froze the account. When I offered to work through their concerns by proving their false accusations, there was no recourse. I have multiple sites and cannot afford to have advertising frozen due to someone's misconceptions and worse, invalid accusations! IMHO.

Having good PageRank (PR) is not enough when text-link-ads.com decides you are growing faster than they expect. That is exactly what happened to me personally. If you check my Antiques site, it does have good PR and was the site closed down by TLA.

If you are selling ads more people will be concerned with your traffic volume over your page rank.
In order to get some decent money you need a lot of traffic. And no I am not just saying that because of
    the link in my sig.
