Hello I have one query ... today I have searched for keyword Kitchen in google. In first page ... I saw a website i.e., http://www.kitchenworldindia.com/ and they have only 15 backlinks inspite of that they indexed in page one. Do you have any idea whats the reason ?? So less backlink and even after that they are in first page. Please share Take Care Bbye and Keep Clicking.
Will you please tell me in details ... what kind of those back links are ... and if Google and yahoo are not able to trace than how they got indexed.
Yeah and google is not showing any back link for that site ... Just spent some time on it may be we will be able to trace new thing.
Positioning on SERPs(Search Engine Result Pages) are not only based on Backlinks, but.. There are many other things contributing to the SERP Positions or PageRank. In this case, the first thing is their domain. There domain itself has that keyword. So.. Search Engines show the best suitable domain(I mean, site) and this is one of the best suitable ones for the word 'Kitchen'. ByTheWay, it also has the word INDIA and thats the reason its displayed in the 1st place(I mean, coz you have searched on google.co.in). Its not same with GOOGLE.COM. Now.. The second thing is, its Content.. I seems to have a pure and unique content which is more than anything else. The third factor is its Traffic.. It is having a good format and great site which is the key factor to get traffic.. They must getting a high amount of traffic which is pushing them to the first position. By The Way.. To check the backlinks, never use Google as it records the backlinks too late and too little. The best place to check the backlinks is http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com . Hope.. you got me!!!
That site has PR 2. and I believe you found that site on google india and I strongly believe that site could has geo targeting set.
@Echo@CyberDude They have got 3441558 rankings in alexa and also they are using flash in their home page. So traffic point is violated there. They also have very less contain compare to those sites which are providing Kitchen style and kitchen tips. So contain matter is also light here. Is any one know about this ... please tell I want to know

WHAT?!?!?! Are you okay?? You are doing nothing but wasting you time. That site is on Flash and Google can now crawl Flash, I guess.. Google has thought that its an Official site of some company as it seems to be and thats the reason it has given so much priority!
This site does rank well only in Indian Google. Backlinks seem to be pretty good and relevant, most of them are from India. They have keywords "kitchen" and "india" in domain. Most likely they are hosted in India and also have Indian geotargeting setup at Google. You don`t need huge amount of quality links to rank well. SE-s have improved their ability to crawl flash. Site is live from the beginning of year 2004 - so, Google trusts them.
It is on first page of google.co.in. In Yahoo it shows 12 backlinks. And those backlinks are coming from good PR. This site is totally Flash based web site and may be it has high traffic rate. Domain is registered on Feb 15th 2004. May be domain age factor is working here. As it is 4 years old domain.
i can show you a similar scene... try google.pt for "impressão digital" the first site, ranked #1, is a total flash site, with PR 1. competition for that keyword is 800.000. i counted 3 backlinks in yahoo, 2 unranked and the other PR 0. how can it be ranked first in google.pt ?!?!
