Have I missed something obvious?

I am new CJ affiliate and have joined a number of their travel programs because I have a small local business directory. The idea being if someone wants to book a hotel through seeing it listed on my site, they click a link with a generic message "Click here to visit website" and land at that individual hotel.

However I think I have a problem with this idea because the PHP web directory application I am using just requires a standard URL because the HTML is hard coded into the page itself. When I look at the code produced for this hotel, it includes the HTML but more worryingly a second link to 1x1 pixel tracking image.

Can someone please tell me if I have misunderstood how CJ works.

Don't worry about the 1x1 pixel, it's used by CJ to track impressions. Your links will still work without it - although obviously the impressions won't be counted (not really a problem). Just copy the destination url from the CJ code and use that instead.

    I´ll second that...

Just copy the part of the code on the text link:

E.G: http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-3121310-10535295 and use it as the destination of your directory link.
This will mess with your stats but you will be able to refer people anyways.

    Thanks for the replies.

I had a think about this and came up with the solution of having two website link fields then using an if else statement in the page template.
