Have I Just Been Burned In The Services Section?

    Hi all,

I just paid for traffic in the services section by someone with an Itrader of 27 (roughly).

He will not respond to my emails or PM's. It's only been 2 days, but I am getting suspicious.

What's the best way to deal with this? A straight refund request at Paypal?

I noticed that people who have received negative feedback in the past also are allowed to continue trading, sure the neg feedback might be illegit, but what trust does that leave you with? And usually there's no smoke without fire right? Should these people be allowed to continue trading?

Anyway, it's one of the first trades I ever did at this forum and it is already starting to look like I've been ripped off. lol.

Could be many reasons why you haven’t had a response, maybe the selling has an internet or PC problem. He or she may have taken ill.

How much did you pay? Has the seller still been posting on the forum?

You are in no rush to claim a refund; I usually wait a week before I start to panic.

When buying a service it’s always a good idea to get a timescale before paying.

Give him or her some time just in case.

Hope all turns out well for you.

    Thanks Brian

You have 90 days to file a dispute with paypal, so don't rush it. Judging from what I've seen in the traffic forum, I'm guessing you paid less than $50.

Give the guy a week like others have suggested, then issue a paypal dispute. If the person you paid has a good itrader and reputation, then they are probably just dealing with real life issues.
