New site, launched 3 days ago, promoted on stumbleupon (maybe they dont like buying?), cj registers 100 clicks through to ebay, but no revenue. Am I expecting too much?

    Thanks

I wouldn't look to Stumbleupon for the sort of targeted traffic you're looking for. You need to blitz the site with an entire suite of seo strategies that will produce lagoons full of one way backlinks. That'll get you buyers.

stumbleupon just get the ball rolling. Now you need to do some articles and press releases. It takes time. You should also do some bookmarking on other sites...onlywire could help as well as digg would help.

Then you need to add more content pages may 2 to 3 per week. I use popshops to generate content that also sells to augment the BANS income.

    Good luck

Depending on Stumble Upon for conversions is like depending on cheap traffic bought through Digital Point. It's untargetted. You have to think of Stumble Upon as a good free backlink to your site, which wil get you some eyeballs and maybe free links to other people's sites which in turn will raise you up in the search engine results. And that's where the best free targetted traffic is from, the search engines.
