Have I been asked to host an adult site ?

    Hello,

    I run a small hosting company and have been asked by somebody I know if I could host there e commerce site, selling underwear etc...
    They want to have photos of them wearing (showing) what the item will look like on. I am not sure if this comes under the law as a adult nature site and if I have to do anything apart from my standard disclimer and AUP forms ?

    If this is done I will put an adult advisiry notice on the front page with enter and leave buttons.

    I am based in the UK but the server that I would host it from is in the USA (east coast)

    Any thoughts ?

    Unless the models are doing something kinky, okay.

    Ever hear of lingerie ads?
    Even amazon has them, ebay has them, victorias secret is full of them.

    A site selling underwear is not an adult site.

    You could place a warning at the bottom of the first page if the lingerie is see-through.. somethink like a disclaimer:

    "This site contains images of models wearing lingerie, without erotic conotations"..

    I wouldn't.

    Thanks for the info,

    I have been told it would be similair to an "ann summers" style store, kinky underwear etc and some other items, if you get my meaning.

    The person thats wants the site says that she has looked at other sites and they have an age warning page at the start and thats it.

    Any thoughts would be great...:rolleyes:
