have computer destroyed your handwriting ?

i just was thinking about a convo i had in school , and it was about one of the teachers. she had noticed that her handwriting had become really bad since she started using computers ( for writing out documents etc )

and i was wondering has anyone else noticed that there handwriting skills have decreased since they have been using msn messenger etc, cause my handwriting has become really bad lately and also i actually wrote LOL on a story i had to write today

 

i forget when was the last time i write sometime(beside signing...)

 

thats what i mean , alot of people DONT NEED to write out things nowadays because they can just use there computer and printer

 

Almost everyone's presentation skills are improved via the use of computer and printer. When I want to I can write a really nice cursive. The corrections and spell check are a real problem with that method.

 

My handwriting has been destroyed forever. Anyway i started typing a few months after handwriting so i couldn`t tell

 

I'm the opposite, my cursive has really suffered. You should see me try to write out a check...like trying to calcuate pi.

on the other hand, I still am a very good printer!

A bit, i write slower now.

 

i only use a computer to write reports etc cause it much easier and just looks neater, but every little doesnt help in my case lol and my writing is only getting worse

 

you have the makings of being an excellent MD, at least in the prescription writing dept.

 

that`s the only think i have n common with a MD

 

I'm right there with you. The closest thing I have to a Porsche is a porch

 

I used to write exellent cursive until i held the PC.

So i dont think my handwriting is gone worse although it is effected.

 

My husband once told me my handwriting looked like stammering on paper. It's a lot worse now.

 

yah i just noticed my hand writing is getting worst...wahheheh

 

better that it's stammering than stuttering!!!

 

anyway i don`t care about my handwriting, not useful anymore

 

My handwriting has always sucked. Mostly because I think way faster than I can write, and I don't have the patience to write what I'm thinking slow enough to make it neat. I can type 2-3 times faster than I can write, easily, so it's always been my preference. Especially when I learned to type properly in high school and was typing 60+ WPM after 3 months.

 

what is the use of handwriting otherthan your signature??

 

mine sucked anyway, now I can't even make out a word to describe it
