Personally not at the moment but there are people out there really earn a living by owing an ecommerce site. The business has reached the world and they really provide 24x7 support - truly non-stop.

Has you started? Or still hesitating?

e-commerce opportunities is out from your expected. Do not worry while to start up a e-commerce website less cost than the physical business.
So take the advantages and expand your business. Thousand dollar per month would not be a problem if you put some effort there.
You may put more effort in marketing then it won't be a problem for you to earn thousand per month.

I have tons of clients making good money with their ecommerce stores. Some warehouse their own products and some are dropshipping. You need to be dedicated like any other business and have a decent platform for shopping cart software. I suggest www.ezOSC.com its easy to use and has all of the features of Magento.

One of my main suggestions would be to do your home work on your ecommerce software to make sure you are set up correctly from the beginning. It can be expensive or at least very time consuming to switch platforms. Also some store upgrades are very difficult after stores are populated with products.

Make sure that the software that you choose has or is capable of having good shipping modules, payment modules and SEO modules (for rewriting URLs and custom META tags).

if you are going to do dropshipping then make sure your software supports multiple vendors so you can configure each vendor differently.

Shipping is one area that people can0 loose a lot of money, so make sure that your shipping estimators are working and calculating rates based on your suppliers location or wherever the products are being shipped from.

Test your store to make sure it works well an has a pleasing flow, then test it again.

Check your competition REGULARLY and see what they are doing as far as promotions. For example, some people run free shipping or discounts for orders over $xxx and if your competitors are doing it and advertizing it on their home page then you have to step up and compete with that some way.

Why would i tell some dude with 30 posts the niches that make me money? Thats a pretty ridiculous thought. Sounds like your original thread is just trolling for ideas because someone cant be creative and / or use the search button. My 2c
