Have anyone here tried BlogRush?

I'm not sure if this thing really works. Any advice?

BlogRush is a "Cooperative Syndication Network." It's a network of blogs that run a small "widget" on their pages. Each time this widget is loaded it will contain 5 clickable headlines which are the blog post titles to other users' posts. Clicking on any of these links will open a new browser window and load the blog and full post. Users earn "syndication credits" based on each time their blog loads the widget as well as each time any of their referrals (users that signup after clicking the "add your blog posts" link on the widget) loads the widget. They also earn additional credit based on all the activity through 10 generations of referrals. 1 Syndication Credit = having one of their recent blog post titles served inside the widget on another member's blog.

I joined it. One of my blogs was approved. It is a good concept that will bring some decent traffic over time. They have had some problems getting it off the ground, but John Reese is in charge and it will go as far as he wants it to. So I suspect it will be huge! Everything is running smooth now.

 

I think it's just an old fashioned web ring with a different name. Maybe that's just me though.

I much prefer BlogCrap.

 

i never try blogrush as the poor interface that no one will be interesting to click the links.

 

It has become extremely popular so quickly which is very impressive.

But I'm personally not using it as the the math doesn't work out for me.
in normal circumstances if I send one visitor - then I should get one back - unless traffic is somehow being pumped into the system.

But with BlogRush you can earn more clicks back than you send out which to me means someone is losing.

Those who referred a lot of people like John Chow will benefit - but the average blogger will not.

That's my gut reaction - but I'm still keeping an eye on it and may try it out another time.

 

Yaa i also submit one my site but its was unapproved due to irregular timing post.. well Blogrush is very quality blog site to gain nice traffic..

It's a terrible service, strongly advise to forget about them.

 

I sent them 10,000 impressions and they sent me back 0 visitors. Total BS. Put something useful in that space.

 

I am using Blogrush now, but I am yet to see concrete benefits from it

 

I have tryed it but my blog got disqualified. It wasn't getting any traffic anyway, so I don't reccomend it unless our blog is very very popular

 

I signed up awhile ago and they probably averaged sending me about 3-10 visitors per day so I dropped out. I wouldn't recommend Blogrush until they upgrade the service somehow.

 

They have revised their script a couple weeks ago and have made a new interface.
