I found a new Pay per Click affiliate program. I used adsense till now, but I’m think I will change it. With this new program I can build my banners. They give me full control over the design so I can match the banners with my site. This is what I love about this program. Targetpoint gives me an average of 40 cents per click and i am very happy about it, it’s better than adsense. They offered me an other option to generate revenue with my exit traffic. If you heard about them or you are working with them please let me know. For more infos http://publisher.targetpoint.com/aboutinfo/ Thanks, Blondy
You're maybe right Mopacfan, but I am using this program, and actualy it's working well for me. I'm using Exitpoint from Targetpoint and i am pleased. I didn't want to put ads on my site so I choose this option. They told me that no one offer similar product beside them. What to think about that.........I don't know. But I'm making good money with them, they gives me an average of 40 cents per click and i am very happy about it. What I love is that they don't put their logo and link on the banners like google and the others. I say go for! You have nothing to lose , you only can make some money. Best regards, Big Dady
dady, the big question is how much are you making and how much would you be making with adsense? blondy has one post, you have two here. The red flags are flying...
I heard about TargetPoint from Axxom here at the DigitalPoint Forums. That was Axxom's first post, so Axxom and blondy are very likely the same spammer. dady has only two posts, both of which are about TargetPoint. However, let's look beyond that issue and to the actual TargetPoint system itself. It's only my second day with the program, but so far it seems to be the #1 AdSense alternative. It does not appear to beat AdSense, but it is making me happier than the other PPC options I have tried. I love how customizable the ads are! One downside: The ads can take a long time to load. I am seeing 5.4 cents per click. It may actually be paying me less than Veoda, but I can't tell because the Veoda reporting portal is so horribly broken.
Of course you agree with blondy because both user accounts are on the same IP address, along with Axxom, which guess what they post about? How great targetpoint is. Pretty annoying if you ask me.
One more downside with TargetPoint: It keeps crashing Internet Explorer. I remove the TargetPoint ads, the crashing stops. I put the TargetPoint ads back, the crashing starts again.
If these members are from targetpoint, you'd think they would be spend more time being proactive and dealing with the issues will has raised than spamming in SEO forums. Darren
I've decided to try it today. I have one page that does not work good with BidClix, so I do not loose a lot there. My first impression - it's nice and functional website, but there are bugs. Like you choose banner ad of one format and gets another format in your page (at lease one sample I'm aware about). Also I do not see a way to get a login at their home page... It has a link to registration, but no login one. And the statistics do not look like a real time. It's already a couple of hours since I put their ad into my page, but still "No data available" at their website. May be they display data starting from a previous day... IE crashes - it really make me scary. I hope it just a bug in one of ad. format, but if I'll see one crash at my page - "good bye targetpoint"
Update. I do not see crashes, which is good. But click rate is very low. 3-4 cents per click and some clicks are "0" (from qualified coutries). So, I decided to skip this program for myself.
The crashes appear to have subsided. Out of 39,542 impressions I have seen 183 clicks for a total of $13.34 in revenue. That represents a CTR of 0.46 and a CPC of $0.07. In TargetPoints defense, these ads only appear on pages which AdSense can not find a revenue-generating ad for. Both CTR and CPC would probably rise if the TargetPoint ads were placed on more valuable pages. This puts TargetPoint in competion with Veoda, but without Veoda's broken portal. It also puts TargetPoint in competition with Clicksor, but without Clicksor's limited advertiser selection. Clicksor does have that revenue-producing keyword underlining ad technology, but you can use that without using their context-sensitive text-based ads. I have not implemented TargetPoints "ExitPoint" ads. I have a slight feeling that my userbase would simply not put up with those.
Who doesn't like customization? However, would you base your ad selections on appearances? http://greatdiamondsforless.blogspot.com/
