    Hey guys

I am really new to selling domains and don't know what is reasonable.. can someone help me?

I have the domain www.GoGreed.com and have received an email from someone who is interested in buying it - only thing is, I don't know how much to charge? I would like to send him a reply soon, so would appreciate your replies as promptly as you can (hope this doesn't sound too bossy - I am not like that ..lol)

It's not developed at all - and has only been registered a few weeks.

    Thanks heaps for your time

    Cindy

I think it's worth ~$150, not a whole lot in my opinion.

Thanks for your opinion. I don't even think it's worth that much (I am really hoping that the potential buyer is not reading this... lol!)

I honestly have no idea, so that is why I have turned to you wonderful dp peeps :)

I was thinking around $50, but if I suggest that there is no way he will offer more. I am happy with $50, so I might go with that. I think I will wait incase a few other people can share opinions and then email him in a few hours.

    Thanks,
    Cindy

I dunno, if you say $50 he might offer $25

Say $75 and see what he says?

    Bit of bargaining I say.

Yep, say $75 and write in the email that you are REALLY expecting a reply.

If he says too high then go to $50 minimum. Then cancel the negotiations

Check this guy out before you deal with him or you may wind up with no domain and no money. "Sell me your domain" is one of the latest scams going around.

Make sure his email is to a real domain. Make sure he is a verified PayPal member. Insist that the transfer be to the same name as the PayPal account.

Come guys add a few more "bewares" to this incomplete list.

Not saying this guy IS a bad apple but there are plenty of them out there.

scart3r, if its a big amount, make him pay through eGold as there is no way one can chargeback eGold.

Have him send you a cheque or some other form of irreversible payment, or Western Union or maybe Xoom

yeah... i think the point I am making is that there is no money. He is just full of hot air. I think he wanted me to use a really expensive appraisal service. It's all a scam. There is no way that this little nothing name would be owrth that much.
