Have account, what do I do to get API key

    I have an account, I can log in and everything, but I don't know what to do now to get my key.

    Google's site says download some code kit, and I did, but I don't know what to do with it. I just need the key.

    If you have created an account at
    http://www.google.com/apis/

    Then you might have got an email with the API key. Check your inbox.

    It sort of feels like I'm going in circles. google.com/apis tells me to create an account. I then use my gmail as my email, and they tell me I already have an account (which I know I do). Then the only thing about APIs I can find is google.com/apis.
