    This script allows you to have tell-a-friend service for your users. Your users recieve a tell-a-friend code which they add to their wbesite and it's powered by you! This is a good way to become a large provider company.

    - I'm selling it for $5
    - written in PHP/HTML
    - no resell rights
    - you can modify the coding
    - no admin panel
    - no database used
    - easy template editing
    - good features
    - copy to clipboard feature
    - gives two types of codes
    - very instant! thats the best of it
    - No configuration needed, just upload and you're done (also, change the template!)
    - You got 'powered by whatever.com' in the emails sent!
    - lots more features but cant remember them right now

    PM me for any queries - or add me onto msn messenger: ibzi at ibzi.net

    If you would like to seriously purchase a copy, simply just say yes and i'll get back to you.

    Did you write this code, or are you reselling it from someone else?

    Your selling something thats really easy to find for free.

    hell i'll even write that script now:

    if(!$_POST){
    	?>
    	<form action="<?=$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']?>" method"post">
    	Email to send to: <input type="text" name="email" /><br />
    	Website URL: <input type="text" name="site" /><br />
    	Your Name: <input type="text" name="name" /><br />
    	</form>
    	<?
    }else{
    	mail($_POST['email'], "Someone wants to tell you about ".$_POST['site'], "Hi,\n".$_POST['name']." wants to tell you about their website: ".$_POST['site'], "From: bill@microsoft.com");
    	echo "Thanks! Email has been sent!<br />";
    }

    PHP:
    Theres a mega basic but working version of your script that your selling for $5. I suggest you try selling something that isnt as easy to get for free.

    Good Luck.

    that's hilarious. Copy and paste code from a php forum and sell it. Like they say, there's one born every minute.

    It's not something I can use, but there are a lot of website owners that do not have high levels of programming experience and for them, a $5 fee is inexpensive compared with searching for something they don't really know that much about in the first place. Just because you happen to be a seasoned php developer, does not mean everyone else is.

    Kenni, it looks like you have something worthwhile to offer and your asking price is more than fair. Good luck.

    If he helps you with any issues, $5 is pretty good for a newbie.

    I realize it can be found via a Google search but sometimes (as Mopac has said) some people might want to pay the $5 just to get the instructions and have someone answer questions.

    If it was $100 I would join in on the flame but $5 is reasonable for help with a script

    Dread, what you've programmed is a simple contact form. The script i created allows you to offer contact forms to your visitors and it's remotely hosted. It's a tell-a-friend reseller, u can't find them easily. Please look carefully at the script before making any comments. thanks

    **You should know that my post is pointing to dread not kenni. What i mean is Dread, you dont need to show off you PHP skill on someone thread who is trying to sell something.

    Do I have to write this way then you will understand what I mean?

    kenni - seems nice and simple; good luck.

    A few quick questions:

    1. Why would I want it remotely hosted? Is there a benefit to that I'm not seeing as obvious?

    2. How would it be different than the one I have on this page http://www.freshdames.com/babesite.html ?

    Thanks in advance.

    No, I didn't think he was selling his remote hosting, I was asking because of his statement:

    The reason I ask, is I personally wouldn't want it, the form, hosted somewhere else - that's just one more variable I don't have control over. If my server goes down, that's on me or my webhost. I wouldn't want someone else's affecting a page on my site, especially when it comes to CRM per se.

    I think he's got a great idea despite some of the negative comments; I'm playing devil's advocate to help him better state his service, explain it, etc.

    Besides, I'm too damned lazy and not all that bright sometimes and this might be a good five bucks spent - hell, for $5 and the freed up time, I could have a beer :D

    There's plenty of people who can barely get their html site working let alone set up a tell a friend form. Those people would find this service useful.

    There are plenty of people out there who are not capable of getting any sort of Tell-A-Friend page due to PHP and so on..

    This service is perfect for them

    Kenni - did you see my previous post and questions?

    I ask because I have an interest and maybe others who would find this useful, but want to better understand it.

    Thanks.

    wrmineo, I get the impression that you think he is just selling the code for a tell a friend form. He is actually selling a turnkey website. This turnkey website allows OTHER PEOPLE to put the code that the turnkey site generates onto THEIR SITE. Like I said in my last post, "There's plenty of people who can barely get their html site working let alone set up a tell a friend form. Those people would find this service useful.". You wouldn't want it remotely hosted. The only reason people would use the service of this turnkey website is because they are not capable of setting up a tell a friend form on their site themselves.
