To change the template of seyret goto: components/seyret_component/themes/default/templates/ and change the settings in frontpage.php

What should I change to get it to fit in with the rest of my template?

Because your template is so narrow you will need to have each table on a new line = (</br) so you could have example the video first then on the line below the description, then other videos on the next line and so on. This will make a long and narrow seyret. But you might consider another site template instead because you are likely to get the same trouble with other components. I can see you already asked about it on joomlashack. Your template is width fixed with size 500 and seyret is 620. It's like stuffing an elephant into a phonebooth :) also your menu have some issues on firefox.

You could try something else...not the best way but it might help.
Go to your module adminstration in joomla backend - Modules -> site modules and find the module(s) you are using on the left site of your seyret video compeonent (Main menu, Who's online, Login, Popular) open each module and look to the right, (the box under - Menu Item Link(s): and un-mark (make sure the modules NOT show on the seyret video) might look like this: mainmenu| - TRAMPOLINING VIDEOS.

That way you will use the full width of your template - but you will also loose your site navigation on the video site (link to your other content) so you will need to provide a button or link to go to your other content.

Firstly thanks for your help, much appreciated!

The second option didnt work, the seyret component doesnt move over (it doesnt make use of the extra space made available by removing the items on the left hand side of the page).

As far as I can see the menu is working properly in firefox.

As for the first thing you suggested could you do it for me as im not really sure what im doing.

Do you know of any other free video components that might fit in my template? Or is it possible to just stretch the template I have at the moment?

Okay so now we can see that the problem isent seyret but your template. Even after you have removed the modules something is still blogging the area.

You can see that seyret is actually positioned correctly (center) but something is occupying the space where the modules used to be.

I cant see what it is.

Do you have your own videos or is it from youtube/similar? If they are from youtube you could use a mambot instead to insert them directly in your content or even better use the free mambot allvideosplugin that way you can even embed your own videos (localhosted) and/or video providers like youtube. (instead of seyret) But it dosent looks as cool as seyret.

If you make the width of your current template bigger it is going to break up several places like your header and the logo you have in the top - also the footer + plus seyret is still gonna be non-centered.

So again - the problem is that on your current template you have something occupying the left area of your template - where the module use to be. You have removed the modules but the area dosent collapse.
Seyret is actually shown corretly (center on page)

So you should not make any changes in seyret.

I cannot see what it is that is occupying your left area.
