Have a Question about Xoom?

    Hi All,

    Is it necessary while making transfers that you have to have a same email address used for Xoom and Paypal?

    I mean if my Xoom ID is that is it compulsory to use the same paypal ID(test@test.com) to make transfer OR I can use any Paypal ID.

    Please give me your suggestions..

    Nope. Its not necessary to use same email for xoom id and paypal id IMO. I have my email id and my paypal id is

    Then why they have cancelled my transaction. I am having Indian Verified Paypal account and I was doing transfer to Phillipines.

    Any Idea what is wrong here??

    Have you asked them reason for cancellation through their support system :confused:

    Xoom was made not so much for remitting money to yourself but to others. Of course there is nothing wrong in sending to yourself.

    Check with them the reasons for the cancellation, it might be that you got some details wrong.

    I guess Xoom is now much strict when you are sending money to Philippines:confused:
    recently they have canceled my transaction too! i even contacted them but its not sorted out yet:p


    using different id's is certainly not an issue
