I am thinking of adding AdSense to one of my seo sites - it is getting very relevant traffic and I am just curious what would be the bid for a keyword like "seo", "seo service" and related?

    As they say, YMMV.
SEO ads are terrible. They pay low, and nobody clicks on them, because the audience consists of ALL webmasters.

I have keyword lists showing SEO EPC as high as $80 per click. Balderdash! No way.

Check out my popular "Google Ranking Factors" page in my signature.
At the top of the page, I have placed a comment in place of the ad block.
"The worst ad space on the planet."
It is a fact and says it all. The reason it is so bad is the subject matter - SEO.
For many months, this was my highest traffic page (not any more).
During those months, this was also my VERY WORST performing Adsense page.

The Adsense statistics for this page pulled all my stats WAY down, when Adsense was on the page. It was so bad, I had to remove them, to prevent the crashing of my site-wide CTR and EPC.

But go ahead, give it a try. And tell us how you do. As they say, YMMV.
