Hello and Yes I am new here but was referred by a friend at a Banner Exchange site that has helped me quite bit..

Just to give all of you a bit of history Besides other things I was doing in the Music Biz and Graphics Biz plus the Video Gaming Biz I was told by a friend to start a Blogger site and put my Game cartoons on it so others could see them...

Well I did around 14-months ago and never thought I would do anything with the site but have fun with it...

    Yeah Right!!...

It became my next fun thing to mess with every nite, and put all the links I could find of my passions on it...

Well after getting a friend to help me strip alot of the Blogger code out and do a few tweaks it doesn't look a heck of alot like a Blog site any longer except for the URL.. (Yes there are some probs with it looking correct in IE, but it looks great in Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape & Opera).. I'm not that great with HTML & CSS...

Anyways I have a ton of Affiliate programs going on and have done alot on my own just to get it registered with the search engines and places all over the place besides I have the URL in my Emails and on every site I visit forums in..

So my friend tells me since it is a PR5 site I should get rid of all the sites that I link to and do not link to me and Sell either Banner or Link Space...

I was wondering what all of you think...Yes I could use the money, but is it worth the effort to try and market my site to get paying customers to it??..

I am not that great of writer and I do scan all the Video Gaming News, Tech News & Music News but I rarely write unless it is something that sparks my interest..

At the moment I prolly have about 15,000+ posts on different forums and links on quite a few sites with my site address in my sig... I don't have a counter on my site cause I never felt I needed one so I have no clue as to how many visitors I have had in all this time..

So any feedback would be great... :D

here's the link to my site and if it's against the *Rules* then Please do not look!!!, cause I am not looking for hits at all, just info & help..

http://lifetimegamer.blogspot.com/ (MODS please remove if against forum rules) I couldn't find where to put the address in my sig, unless I did and missed something....

    Thanks gang,

    Keith

Link selling is considered a "bad" practice by some search engines. You are probably better off adding some advertisements to your site instead. Maybe adsense or somethin like that. Or find some affiliate programs where you can get a commission for selling their products.

Also, What gauge or what is so good about PR anymore ? I have a PR rank site of 4 and 5 also, but either get hardly any traffic, so anyone advertising on them would probably lose money.......
