I see you have a register confirmation, did you put that after this spam incident?

Yes, they are bots. Some well coded bots can read the standard CAPTCHA of phpBB and get through the registration.

Although sometimes humans are paid to do it. :)

    Great collection of thash
Im having other troubles - every day i get few signups (mostly from same IP's) with nonsense nicknames like 'dftyrdy' or 'hgblglbidrgld' or 'dfrtjtyk'. They do not post they just register and activate and not coming again. Shall i wait for a big wave of spamposts later on from them

stinker, Protect yourself before it happens.
Ban the specific IP, and ban the IP range if it won't effect other people.
Install a spam modification, put on image register protection, and make sure e-mail activation is on rather than user activation.

I think this is a bot by someone who don't like you.
because if he wanted to spam then he should in a big forum not a new forum

I banned now that IP from where the most bots came (btw: e-mail activation was on  )
Unfortunately image protection doesnt work (probably because of some bugs in my SMF forum script)
Now set up to manually approve members on till i fix the image register protection, and on till i find the right spam mod for SMF.
Then i see what happens. :)
Big thanks, Jkrish41, for your advices!
