*lots* of text, very well organized. Not pretty, just organized. Proper use of anchor links (even on ul/li). Inbound links from related pages, with use of the keywords.

i agree to your opinions, but the page looks tooo big, but ranks really well, i see it as another way to do SEO, by adding loads of content on a single page and using the keyword a lot many times.

 

just to add to this, there are only 16 links pointing to this page and the keyword is a really big keyword.

 

The page is little long in my openion however there are few other things we should be looking into

1. Content: They have unique content
2. Links: The page has 16 Google backlinks which is not bad
3. Keyword: Use of keywords very very good
4. Meta Tags: Well organised!
5. Lots of text
6. May be they frequently update their site (I am not sure)

 

Remember that google shows very few of the actual links that they have logged.
MSN is showing 1117 backlinks to this page.

 

The domain was also created a long time ago (6 years +) which generally helps rankings.

Yeah, it has copyright 1995-2006 at the bottom. Very old.

 

i give more credit to their lot of content and maybe they are updating it regularly, plus the age of domain

Maybe they blew someone at google to become #1?

I don't think so. They have almost everything that is needed to get high ranking in google
