As Google says that it penalizes the sites with no-unique content. In Google's Panda they penalize the sites for copying content that is present on other sites. So I am confused that - If someone publishes an article written by him and other sites pick them up then how Google is going to decide that who originally wrote that content??? Obviously all the sites that pick up that article will have a link back to the original site. So is this how Google will decide that who has the original content??
See, If you write an article and google indexed it, then some one search in google and found your site. he will copy your content, but as your content is already indexed by google, Google assumes you are the original writer of that article. Also if some one linked your site, and has same content then google will think you are the writer. and give more value to your content.
Yeah the linking back thing makes sense to me. But is it the only way that Google is going to decide about the author coz if you talk about getting indexed first, it maybe possible that if I am publishing an article and also submitting the same on article directories. So they get picked up and might be indexed before me. Well it is a possibility. So if we leave out the linking back thing isn't there any other way??? What do you people think?
If you run a wordpress site, don't worry about this. Before the Google Caffeine I was concerned also regarding content thieves but now Google indexes and shows in the results my articles 1 minute after I publish them. It can not be a thief quicker than Google.
Yes well that is an option, but I am asking what about if someone picks the article from your site and puts on his site with the links back to the original article and just suppose that it gets indexed first than you then is Google going to consider the 'link back to you' factor for deciding who originally wrote the article or any other things also???
