Hello Friends, As topic title mentions that I have 20 K and I want to invest it on online business. Which business is best to invest in? I am thinking to start a directory and blog network. Other ideas are appreciated keeping in mind that I am looking for 5K monthly after 5-6 months. Thanks in advance. ~Freelance GD
If I had $20k I'd either 1) buy several pristine servers and host proxy sites on em, making a buttload through adsense/adversal OR 2) Buy a great deal of established sites with high PR and link them all to a directory with a great domain to create a monster PR. Well I can dream can't I?
You don't really even need money to start a directory and blog network. Also, 'investing' in advertising can be very risky. ~~~~~~~~~~ Why not put the money somewhere safe (ie. gold, silver) and do the webmaster work yourself?
Agreed... I wouldn't even know where to begin with that much of a primary investment... I'd say stick it into a no-load mutual fund, except for a few hundred bucks... Take that money and buy your domains and hosting... start from there... But then again, I don't make much money online, haha...
I would create several online membership sites. It would take a few k to get them all running. I ran a resell membership and saw 2k residual after 3 months of launching. I just sold that site, but if I could do it all over again, I would defiantly create 10 of those membership sites. Make sure each membership site has something like hosting to retain your members. Just my 2 cents.

I dont need money to start but for promotion it takes hell lot of money. 25 Directories and 50 Blogs. I don't think hosting business can give me that much profit. Do you think this business can give me mentioned profit? As I already said above that there would be 25 directories and 50 blogs and I am going to promote them to PR6 till next update. What you say? Freelance GD, I know for sure it could create that type of income. I am currently building 2 more membership sites as we speak because the income is so good. One will be a niche site builder and the other will be a PLR membership site. Again, make sure you have something to retain your members and with a few months time you could be up and running and profiting. I built Steroidmarketing.com in 46 hours and had it profitable within 48. It can be done without a doubt in my mind. Let me know if you want to go the membership route, I have a wealth of info.
Sell something over the Internet like design a software and sell it, open an ebay store and sell most sought items.
