Keeping up a good proxy isn't too easy.

 

Not something hard.. with $5 a day i can get up to $50..

if you have $1000 that means $10,000...

but you don't need to invest all $1000.. just invest $5 and see the results.. if you like then spend more =]

I specialize in proxy hosting (Since I do host my own on the servers) . I keep my servers fast and up.
A good script to use is Phproxy, and lots of people are trying to make their own versions now since it was discontinued. Another good script is Zelune.

Write articles. If you can write good articles at 500-1000 words for $10 a piece one a day you will make $300 a month via paypal. You could get some of your friends that speak english involved and really pump them out.

Screw proxies, I would go this way.

Set up a site, create example articles, and just post your services in the right forums and respond to wanted requests.

Go to sitepoint and pick up 2-3 sites there, but remember do your research - make sure they have a reasonable PR and have a few months of consistant traffic and income.

Then spend your 1 hour a day promoting them, hell hang around the services offered here at digitalpoint and get those sites on the front page of digg or something.

the price mainly depends on the bandwidth, since proxies require little disk space.

I limit the bandwidth, so the most on one package is 300+ GB, which is more than enough for a proxy.

Though if you need more bandwidth, I offer custom packages.

 

I don't have any proxy right now, but it's good to know, just in case...

 

Why is it that most of the responses are to create a proxy- Adsense isnt the only way to make money. I opened a minature version of my main business last wednesday and I've made 300 in a week so there are tons of ways to make 300 a month- Did I mention I only invested $85!!!

You seem to write pretty good English. You should be able to easily make $300/month writing blog posts and so on for other webmasters. In general just by doing a little grunt work. Then keep your $1k until you know what to do with it on your own.

 

You are looking for too much. You need to invest more time or money or come up with and develop a really great new idea.

 

Get a partner in the US and buy things cheap in Indonesia and sell them for 10x the price in the US.....

the only way to make long term business is just make up your respective credibility and trust.

Try to build up your very own effective list. Find people problems and try to solve it by your own way. Do research, then share your idea with newbies.

as every business is an experiment and success and failure is every where..

so if ur investment is 1k and that means only 1 time u can experiment

if u divide it to $250 u can experiment 4 times

if u divide it to $100 u can experiment 10 times

but the lower u go the lesser opportunities u will get and lesser profit or loss you will make..

I would not say to be a domain and hosting seller.. yes its profitable and with $1000 you can go a long way.. even earn $10k a month.. but avoid all sort of technical fields when u start any kind of business.. like dont plan to invest in something u urself cant handle..

well to give u an example ( just a very short example)

buy a stablished website which sells advertising or links or clicks or banners bla bla.. buy a lot of them if they are cheaper.. buy 1-2 if they are higher priced..

it can be anything like example http://advercash.net

or buy a stablished forum.. with a great niche.. and active members.. and sell banner sponor links newsletter sponsor links and so on..


or get 100 friends from indonesia ( i know 1$ is lot for them per day)

make them join stumble upon or digg

and sell 100 stumbleupon with review or 100 digg with review

on digital point

pay them their portion and difference is ur profit.

just like google is doing

and paying ppls their adsense income..
