Hate-site: should I react?

Reading about all this "scam"-ful ads Aaron Wall talk about, I decided to check the name of the company I work for. And except adwords like "... is scam" that are identical to Aaron's ones, I have found a hate-site that seems to be created by the competitors.

My first movement was to leave an irate comment on that site, bit I stopped. What will you recomend? Should I ignore this slander or take action?

PS Does it help a blog to rank better if it is commented? I am afraid of helping this site to rank for the company name...

    Let it go.

They must be immature to stoop to that level.

The fact that your asking advice before acting shows you are much more mature. ;)

Thank you :) Probably I am not that mature as I stoped the last moment, when my mouse was ready to click "submit comment" ;)

But I agree, this kind of ... mmm... I can not call this "marketing"... this kind of sites full of lie are primitive. Let God judge them :)

The smart thing to do is let it go because they want attention. Best way to stop them is not give them any.
