I approve them because it shows that you accept people's opinions and that's important. Also if you delete it the user may be frustrated and post it again and again.
Agree. One of my blogs is about my political opinions and rants....opposite opinions are always welcome. I still get the last word
I think it depends upon the blog and its topic. My personal belief is that people (adults anyway) should be able to disucss issues and the like without resorting to calling people names and being abusive. My particular blog is not the place for that, but maybe your is. Like I said it all depends upon the topic of the blog.
Thanks for the replies guys. I actually was able to turn the comment into a whole new post. So it worked out.
I agree. depends on the comment. If they are slamming ME though, I usually don't approve it, but sometimes I do.
Yes, i am going to approve them IF the comments are reasonable enough to hate my topic but if its unrelated then, i'll just delete it.
I did something really funny to a comment spammer yesterday. He spent a whole paragraph typing up his story about how some product had helped him. He then had the audacity to add a link to the site and say give member # when you order (it was a MLM site) and the product didn't even look like it had much to do about the problem he explained. So What I did was just edit his comment and changed the product name to the one that I was talking about(promoting) in that blog post and erased his link.
