This is what they wrote in there mail: I already paid them in Advanced... now i am Ruined.... Anybody else suffered?
Sue over webhosting? I don't think that would be worth it... The costs giving out would be a LOT more than taking in if you win the case.
I'm in the same shoes! They sent me the same email a few minutes ago, after taking me through hell by making my websites inaccessible over the holidays. Also, check out http://webmastersagas.blogspot.com/, maybe you want to submit your story over there.
Thats why you don't buy web hosting from small crappy sites like HastyHost. Try sticking with the big names. I Apologize for all the small guys out there that do indeed provide excellent hosting / support, but people like these guys make you look bad. I would never host any of my sites on a small host.
Remotay, not necessarily. A lot of "big names" can't provide individual or great support because of so many customers, so you may not get your issue resolved for a while. On the other hand "small guys", can handle that better since they don't have as many customers.
I doubt that the big guys would strand you as badly as HastyHost stranded us over the holidays and right now, shutting down with no notice and no backups. That's pretty crazy! I really hope it's a hoax from someone else or some kind of misunderstanding and that they're not actually doing what the email says.

Oh man, I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you can somehow get your files back. PS; Don't switch to the host they recommend you to. You are simply filling their pockets more and setting yourself up for another disaster.
Like i said in the other thread, i have no idea what is going on with this although i would like to know if anyone has more information i would like to know please Some e-mail's i got: We at ayrshire webdesign do not hold any information regarding hastyhost, we just received information that the admin at hastyhost had e-mailed there clients telling them to come to us. Sorry i cant provide any more information. I recommend joining ayrshire-webdesignand getting your site back online ASAP Thanks! Excellent Point.. Do not go anywhere near there recommended host. And he was asking for 3 banners to be made for the company a couple of days ago! Something must have changed his mind.. WOW.. no expense spared there! Sorry to here this.. hope you find a replacement soon. James

Has anybody actually lost their sites yet?? I took the liberty of contacting HastyHost and this is the email i got back:
i lost but i also contacted them and they made them Up again a few minutes ago... but still i am afraid for future...
They are not down. It's some scammer who hacked into their email and who's trying to get you to buy hosting from him (the scammer). Again, hastyhost are not down, all my sites with them are up.
